A big event of 2024 was obviously the Presidential election. Some are pleased with the outcome and others aren’t. Some don’t understand why Trump won. To others, it’s obvious. I’ll explain why I believe Trump won.
My assessment is Trump won because people perceived and/or experienced enough of the evil, corruption, and lack of ethics and morals in our supposed trusted systems of society to give him a sweeping mandate for change—whether it’s politicians grifting and insider stock trading, government entities colluding with businesses, big pharma jabbing, food ingredients poisoning, autism and illnesses rising, lawfare punishing, news media lying, schools and colleges brainwashing, mental health problems rising, doctors being punished, men peeing in women’s bathrooms, government wasting our money, kids transitioning, government censoring, social media canceling, inflation rising, politicians hoaxing, etc.
Those who didn’t vote for Trump largely voted for Harris for four reasons: they don’t like Trump’s personality; they were conditioned to believe things about Trump that were proven hoaxes; they can’t get their head around believing our systems of society are as corrupted as they are; and/or they just voted Democrat because that’s what they do. To me, frankly, none of these are good looks for Harris voters.
Even though Trump did a lot to win, the Democrats also did a good job of losing the election for themselves. They nominated a person who could not articulate a vision for America that was different than the mess of the Biden years. She couldn’t put forth any policies that weren’t either copied from Trump or considered by voters as conflicting with their own social and cultural values. She was an awful mess of a candidate and hopefully she’s gone from politics.
A lot of people who voted for Trump actually feel personally violated by the last four years of Biden and they blame the party in power—the Democrats—and frankly after four years many will never believe Joe Biden legitimately won 10 million more votes than Obama. Enough people voted for Trump in 2024 because they are tired of being abused and most importantly fear the future for their kids and grandkids.
Anyone not understanding this is not grasping the reality of Trump voters and their urgency for change. Why Kamala Harris supporters don’t see this is not a mystery to me when one understands how our perceptions of reality are formed.
Some perceptions we have are based on truths and some on lies. Yet, far too many people willingly are assigned their perceptions of reality based on the news and social media they tune into and the people with whom they associate. If one reads or listens to the news or social media, what’s written or said far too often becomes their reality, whether false or true. I’m not saying that people can’t think for themselves. But I am saying that many are convinced that a reality exists which actually doesn’t. Anyone not thinking that they aren’t at least a little brainwashed is probably a lot brainwashed. I fully admit that I believe some things to be true that likely aren’t.
The challenge for me and all of us in 2025 and beyond is to question everything we are told to believe as true and also question that which we are told is a lie, regardless of Democrat or Republican or Conservative or Liberal. When there’s big money to be made or power or control over someone or something to be had, what we’re told by authority to believe true is almost always a lie or hoax and conversely the case also.
The truth eventually becomes known, but not before people materially benefit, and by then the damage is done. If you’re still getting a COVID booster or the flu shot, please stop.
