Elon Musk sums up the Ukraine situation well saying:
“I think we should have empathy for the people dying at the front lines. That's the most important thing. How many more years is this supposed to go on? Imagine if that was your son, your father. (Taken off the street. Thrown in a van. And sent to the front lines.) What exactly are they dying for?
I'll tell you for what: For the biggest graft machine that I've ever seen in my life. (If we think Americans, including politicians, aren’t profiting, then we’re stupid.) It's unreal. The amount of money that is being taken in graft and bribery is disgusting. (So far maybe $100-300 billion of US dollars. But no one seems to know.)
What's actually happening is that those poor guys are getting sent into a meat grinder for money. People need to stop dying. The graft machine's got to stop.
A lot of people out there don't realize it, but the President has a lot of empathy. He really cares—he’s a good man.” (It’s why he’s trying to broker peace.)
My personal opinion is that we should stop flying the Ukrainian flag. It’s OK to have sympathy for the Ukrainian people. But a blanket support for all of Ukraine, one of the worst of money laundering countries, is wrong.
We need to understand events in Ukraine back as far as 1990, but importantly since 2013. It’s not all Russia, Russia, Russia. It’s the US involvement in the 2014 overthrow and other events. It’s Ukraine’s atrocities against ethnic Russians in Ukraine and ripping boys and men off the streets to fight. It’s about who gets control over Ukraine’s natural resources. It’s about Russia’s only warm water port. It’s about NATO and the military industrial complex. It’s a lot of bad people doing bad things.
So, please put the Ukraine flag away and step away from the psyop. There is nothing virtuous about war. Wars start because someone wants something of value. Wars continue because someone wants something of value. They come to an end when someone powerful enough and someone NOT wanting anything but peace says STOP.
That person wasn’t anyone before Trump—maybe because everyone involved was on the take somehow. Remember the Biden’s and their personal financial gain with Burisma?
As we have seen, the only person in the world who can end the war is Trump. It’s not the mostly feckless EU leaders who talk big but can’t do anything without US money and resources. It’s not Zelensky. It’s not Ukraine joining NATO.
So, how about flying the American flag instead of Ukraine’s. Support Trump in the peace efforts. There may not be a perfect outcome. But at least we’re not flushing hundreds of billions of US taxpayer money down the drain. We have a lot of people in need in this country. North Carolina. Fire victims. Veterans. Homeless. That’s where our focus should be.
Believe it or not, money doesn’t grow on trees. We’re $36 trillion in debt because we’ve been ripped off by politicians, NGO’s, foreign countries, big business, fraud, corruption, etc. It’s ok to be angry. But blaming Trump and Musk for anything at this point is just being dopey. They’re why we now know the details of “how” and by “what” we’ve been ripped off for the last 30 years. The “who” are going to blow our minds.
