Censoring Speech

Every extreme regime in history had its own justification for censoring speech and the often brutal actions they took to do so. Today, the battle cry is “stopping misinformation.” When opinions dissent from the prevailing narratives and are censored, the road always ends in the same place, unless happens a change of course. For sure, some people can easily see through the lies and others less so and some not at all. Some people will put in the time to seek the truths and others won't. Apathy should worry everyone. Humanity has a lot at stake, always, and evil people have no limits. History will judge our wisdom or lack thereof.
